So we’re using conditional logic this week: I went to my music library and filtered all the songs with the word “time” in them. Then based on that created this week’s playlist.

Second verse, same as the first? Once again, I was really hoping to get more (well, any) reviews out this week, but the continued search for a rhythm without my son combined with the impending arrival of Hooptober and work insanity made it impossible. I’m going to try and get at least one in a week during the next month and a half as I dive into the horror reviews, but – fingers crossed – the weekly playlists will continue. This week focuses on new releases and my re-engagment with the Grateful Dead, so enjoy and I’ll see you on the other side of Hooptober.

Seriously. In the last two days I had nine CDs and about seven vinyl records arrive at the house. I have no idea how or when I’m going to find the time to sit back and luxuriate in them all, let alone write about them (that’s not quite true, I may have written about two of them already). And since next week is the summertime vacation playlist, I guess this week will be one more round of recent physical acquisitions. It has to end sometime, right?
